“We found this house to be just perfect for us. We enjoyed being so close to both the town and station. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was well kitted out for a self catering holiday. Nice to have linens and towels (so soft!) provided. It was very comfortable throughout. Parking close by was also a plus. Super little welcome basket of goodies greeted us.....with Marmite too 👍. ”

“This was the second visit to no.18.and was as pleasant as the first. We have family connections in Sheringham and no 18 is an ideal location.Convenient for the town and the station .”

Christine H

“We love this house, it's definitely home from home and as always, we found it an excellent choice. I'm sure we'll be back soon.
Pauline D

“Despite the appalling weather the actual house was just right for us. Me and my husband, daughter and husband and 3 yr old grandson. Clean, spacious.”

SHaron S

“Nice cottage just a few minutes walk from centre, very warm comfortable and clean, had everything we needed for a great stay ”

Jean W

“We always feel at home at this house. It is lovely and clean and the owner always provides us with essential goodies, which is so kind. The furniture is lovely and comfortable, as is the bed. It is also tastefully decorated. All in all, very good.”

Pauline D

“The holiday home is situated perfectly for a short stroll into Sheringham and even closer to the bus and train stations should you wish to explore the area without the stress of driving. The house was warm and clean and felt welcoming. We particularly enjoyed the very generous welcome hamper. The bedrooms at the rear of the home looks out directly onto the steam railway. We loved spending time watching all the prep work going on in readiness for the Summer season opening. The kitchen was generously stocked with utensils and crockery should you wish to cook meals but the town offers some wonderful places to eat at very reasonable prices. We supported the smaller independent restaurants and bistros for our main meal of the day. The linens supplied were very good quality too. Access to the rear of the property was easy and directly from the car parking space. There were abundant tourist information leaflets in the dresser drawer along with puzzles and games to entertain all ages .”

Angela H

“A very pleasant family house, well appointed and extremely comfortable and warm. It overlooks from the back the North Norfolk Railway which was of great interest to the family . The only minor criticism, I had, was that I would have liked a few more good quality dishwasher tablets and some cleaning material in the bathroom.
I have given a score of 4 for customer service only because of having to pick the keys from the office rather than having a keybox .”

Christine H

“Had a nice two weeks weather was very good for the time of year. you could leave the car very good bus service”

Michael B

“The house is beautifully equipped and very welcoming. I loved all the little features making it seem home from home. The situation is ideal, being so close to the centre of Sheringham. It’s very handy for the shops. ”

Jenny H

“This is our second stay at No 18 and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. even though the weather wasn't great, we still had a wonderful time and the property provided a comfortable retreat for us to stay in if we couldn't venture out. Everything is provided and the standard and level of cleanliness is superb. Lovely welcome pack to arrive to along with fresh flowers on the table. The beds and furniture were comfortable, which was good for my dodgy back. Only a couple of minor comments. The first floors and stairs are very creaky, but nothing a few screws wouldn't sort. It would also be useful to have a washing up bowl and draining board in the kitchen. Noise from road early in morning woke us up every day. Will certainly book again.”

Deborah F

“18 Marriotts Way....roomy, modern and perfect for a grandson that loves trains. Booked again for next year already! 2 yr old grandson enjoyed looking out his bedroom window in the mornings waiting for the trains 'to wake up'. We usually book nearer the sea front but a short walk to front. It does face a main road but not too busy. House ticked all our particular boxes as a family. ”

Sharon S

“Lovely accommodation, only a couple of minutes into sheringham. Very clean and comfortable. Will definitely be staying again. ”

Angela D

“As usual, we found 18 Marriotts Way to be superb; spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, comfortably warm, everything you could need. Fully recommend this property.”

Pauline and Victor D

“First time stay we was very pleased with the accommodation. Will definitely stay again. It was very clean and comfortable.
Angie D

“Our second stay at this property. Excellent location with easy walking distance into town and North Norfolk Railway.”

Colin L

“Had a nice two weeks; a bit more info would have been nice (central heating) no heating at all in the conservatory.”

Michael B

“In all the years we have been coming to Norfolk this is the best place we have stayed in. So comfortable and great location. Especially loved the steam trains at the bottom of the garden. We will be back next year.
Angela M

“Having stayed in a few different rental homes in Europe over the last few years, we were pleasantly surprised by all the 'extra' facilities that were provided with the cottage we rented this time. Kids, games, colouring pencils, warm blankets, an extra picnic table, Even some food to get us started!
Excellent! and we will be back!”

Alick T

“Very nice cottage in a good location. Was clean, looked after and had all facilities required. Only minor negative was a lack of electrical sockets upstairs.”

Sean C

“A first rate holiday property with the buses and steam railway only a short walk away. Double parking space is a bonus.
Steven H

“We love this house. From the moment you walk in you feel right at home. It is so immaculate. The new conservatory is fabulous. It's just so great. we love this property and will definitely stay here again.”

Pauline D

“Everything about this house is wonderful. Beautifully decorated very well equipped and very comfortable. Great location right by the railway, a short distance to the beach (but a lovely walk) as a family we had a wonderful week 😃”

Sarah H

“Excellent property, lovely location, within walking distance of the town and railway station. Would definitely stay there again”

Caroline W

“We had a lovely few days away. The house was clean and fresh, it felt like everything was new. We were slightly concerned that the railway or busy road might be noisy but they weren't at all. Only negative was that we are a ‘shoes off in the house family’ and while the hard floors looked very clean, we did get slightly grubby socks.
Sophie R

“The location is absolutely brilliant! You’re two doors away from the train station and a few minutes walk from the centre! Anyone wanting to stay for a few days should give this place a go! We noticed a couple of small things during our stay such as a dirty sink, cups and surfaces and hard pillows and mattresses but that’s a small point in the grand scheme of things that can easily be looked over! The house itself has a modern but tasteful layout and theme with all the utilities you’d require for your stay, couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay whilst visiting!
Hoping to visit again in the future and make some more memories! Thank you!”

Ashley S

“Lovely property. Excellent location and walking distance to all amenities. Felt at home as soon as we opened the door.
Colin L

“Lovely place. The few groceries were a very nice touch. Spotlessly clean. Beds were extremely comfortable and the towels were good quality. Brilliant location. Would recommend highly as a great base for the whole area. Great Indian takeaway at the end of the road too .
Lisa A

“We have been visiting Sheringham for over thirty years and have stayed in hotels (before they all closed), guest houses and self catering properties. In many ways 18 Marriots Way is the best accommodation we have had. Despite seeing the description and photographs of the property before we booked it, upon arrival we felt that these did not do justice to the house which exceeded our expectations. The location is convenient for all the facilities in the town and it was a delight to be able to watch the locomotives and trains coming and going to and from the station from the garden.

All the furniture and furnishings were comfortable and in excellent condition. Our whole family enjoyed their stay at the property and would like to return some time in the future. ”

Brian D

“The house in Marriotts Way was superb! From location to the last teaspoon, this house had everything! It was so clean, fresh and modern with every comfort you would wish. We will definitely stay there again. Having a view of the town’s steam train station was an added bonus! Sheringham really is a little gem in Norfolk.”

Malcolm P

“A lovely property which was spotless, very comfortable and spacious. Highly recommend this holiday home ”

Katherine D

“The property was absolutely spotless from top to bottom. Fully equipped kitchen with nothing wanting. The only negative was the very noisy boiler which needs sorting out. A very pleasant stay.
John T

“We love this house, we were very happy with everything. It was extremely clean and comfortable, there is nothing to fault. It has a warm and welcoming feel and is close to the town and sea, with a lovely view over the railway and of the town. We would have no hesitation in recommending this property.”
